Cerner is a leading provider of digital information systems used in hospitals. Oracle will retain Cerner’s digital assets, which include cloud, AI, and machine learning applications for Cerner's healthcare clients.
Announcing the transaction, which closed on 1 August, Marathon confirmed that it has acquired Cerner’s approximately 300 ambassadors, 21 clients, 35 health centers, and 300,000 members.
Hogan Lovells also advised Oracle on its original US$28.3 billion acquisition of Cerner in December 2021. More information on that transaction can be found here.
