Turning Crisis into Strategy: Contracts, projects and disputes at a global chokepoint
The Hybrid ESS is an ecosystem combining Lithium-Ion and Vanadium Redox Flow batteries with artificial intelligence routines and self-learning algorithms to help increase efficiency, safety, reliability, and lifetime of the batteries. The Hybrid ESS will be integrated into an existing solar plant at Saudi Aramco’s facility in Tabuk. The Hybrid ESS aims at enhancing the energy storage capacity of the Tabuk Bulk Plant which is of structural importance for the region.
