Amsterdam, 22 November 2023 – Led by partner Wouter Jongen, the Hogan Lovells Amsterdam banking team has advised on the financing package supporting the investment by the Netherlands-based private equity firm Nordian in Wetac Battery Company, a leading supplier of batteries and accessories in various sectors based in The Netherlands.
With this investment Nordian will support Wetac in jointly refining its long-term strategy, including seizing its potential in novel battery applications essential for driving the energy transition.
The Hogan Lovells team was led by partner Wouter Jongen, with support from senior associate Annebeth Bleeker and junior associate Daniel de Bruijn (both Amsterdam).
