Michael R. Fabrizio is an associate in the Capital Markets Group. Michael represents issuers and underwriters in structured finance and securitization transactions across multiple asset classes with an emphasis on CLO transactions (including corporate CLOs, CRE CLOs and infrastructure CLOs). He also has experience with CMBS, RMBS and ABS securitizations, repurchase facilities and investment fund formation.
Michael has been involved in novel and first-of-their-kind transactions, including representing the sponsor and issuer in the first CRE CLO consisting of a managed portfolio of properties in various stages of horizontal and vertical construction and representing the first borrower to participate in the Federal Reserve Bank’s 2020 TALF Program.
Michael is an active member of the New York City Bar Association’s Structured Finance Committee and has been recognized as a 2025 New York Metro Rising Star in Super Lawyers.
Michael received his J.D. from St. John's University School of Law and his B.S. from Villanova University.
