Martin Vojtko

Martin focuses on fund finance, advising both lenders and sponsors on a variety of fund products, including subscription facilities, NAV-based facilities and hybrid facilities. In addition, he has extensive experience in a broad range of Banking & Finance transactions, including leveraged finance, project finance, general corporate financing as well as Capital Markets, including structured finance.

Prior to joining Cadwalader, Martin worked for The World Bank and The European Investment Fund, where he led the investor’s side of many innovative and award-winning transactions. Before that, Martin worked for a magic circle law firm and its spin-off in Central Europe.

Martin is the author and main editor of several leading practitioner’s guides to ‘Banking & Finance’ and ‘Capital Markets’ in Central Europe. He is also a guest lecturer at several universities including the University of Cambridge and a frequent speaker at leading industry conferences across Europe.  

In addition to his transaction based work, Martin is an arbitrator at the Vienna International Arbitral Centre, with specialisation in Banking & Finance arbitration. Martin is admitted to practice in England & Wales.
