Valerie advises clients on regulatory matters spanning the energy sector.
During law school, Valerie interned in a Commissioner’s office at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. There, she worked primarily on improving reliability for electric transmission. Valerie also interned with the Office of Energy Delivery and Resilience within the Department of Energy’s Office of General Counsel. While at DOE she worked on issues ranging from supply chains, to hydropower, to liquefied natural gas exports.
Valerie maintains an active pro bono practice with a focus on family law, representing clients in custody disputes.
